The purpose of general instruction is to familiarize the employee with:

• basic health and safety regulations contained in the Labor Code, collective bargaining agreement and work regulations
• regulations and health and safety rules in force at the plant
• general fire regulations and basic firefighting equipment
• The principles of providing prehospital care.
